I’m sorry was that a negative title?
Well, what I mean to say is stop thinking your negative thoughts. To help you with that I have a tip for you today. It’s simple really. I call it DAILY DECLARATIONS. It’s simple. Make a list of truthful, positive, declarative statements that you repeat every morning. Personally, I have a list of 19 statements I say out loud to myself everyday. I have been doing this for over a year now and It has really pushed me to a new mental/positive place. Here are a few of my statements:
- I am a child of God, bought by the blood of Jesus Christ; therefore, Jesus will be first in my life. I exist to serve and glorify Him.
- I love my wife and will serve her unselfishly.
- I am disciplined
- I am faithful
- I will be faithful with finances today
- Christ in me is stronger than the wrong desires in me.
You can do this, come up with your own list of statements you say to yourself to help recalibrate your brain. As you repeat the truthful statements over and over you will begin to see you attitude improving; they become mental vitamins you take everyday!
