My wife and I speak in code sometimes; for instance, if she asks if I want a piece of gum what she really means is; “Terry, you have bad breath.” Or if she ask me if I did my devotions yet today, what she really means is; “Terry, you’re really being a jerk today.” I really am thankful that she is looking out for me. The last thing I want is to be walking around offending others with my bad breath or bad attitude.
